Service Coordinator/Customer Service

AFGO, a dynamic HVAC Mechanical Services Company in the NYC Metropolitan Area, is seeking an energetic and aggressive individual for a Service Coordinator/Customer Service position. Must possess strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Candidate will ensure that all calls for maintenance, service and repair are handled in a timely manner.

Candidate should possess good verbal and written communication skills with customers, coworkers, suppliers and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities to include:

  • Set up of dispatch board to  include scheduling, parts and material delivery to jobsites.
  • Customer Service – Receive & prioritize service calls, Schedule appointments for Preventive
    Maintenance, Repairs and Projects. Makes follow up calls to ensure complete customer
    satisfaction.
  • Receive, coordinate and dispatch service calls.
  • Maintain & Manage customer based interactive internet based reporting.
  •  Quote generation utilizing database technology – internal and external
  • Labor hour reconciliation with Preventive Maintenance and Quoted Service and Project Work.
  •  Keeps managers and supervisors informed of all open field issues.

Candidate must possess the following:

  • Minimum of 7 years HVAC experience need only apply.
  • Computer knowledge is a must; demonstrated proficiency in MS office (Excel, Word, Power Point)    and basic windows environment.
  • Ability to multi-task and to work under pressure.
  • Excellent customer service skills.

Salary commensurate with experience,

The ideal candidate will possess previous Customer Service experience in a business to business environment. Microsoft application experience is a must. Knowledge of the following programs is preferred:

  • DataBasics/SamPro Operating Software
  • Service Channel
  • FM Pilot
