Operations Support Team Member

Long Island City based. Local 638B HVAC Contractor is looking to fill an administrative position on it Operations Team. The ideal candidate will have experience performing a multi-faceted role, with knowledge of both Accounts Payable and general office functions. All candidates must have at least 5 years experience in a similar environment.

Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to (Essential Functions):

  • Accounts Payable Entry
  • Purchase Order Adjustments
  • Vendor Statement Reconciliation
  • Repair Proposal Generation
  • Customer Service
  • Data Integrity Management

Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics for Field Service is preferable.

HVAC Service Coordinator/Customer Service

AFGO, a dynamic HVAC Mechanical Services Company in the NYC Metropolitan Area, is seeking an energetic and assertive individual for an HVAC Service Coordinator/Customer Service position. Candidate must possess strong organizational skills, an attention to detail and exceptional verbal and written communication skills in order to correspond with clients, coworkers, suppliers and sub-contractors.

Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

  • Setting up appointments for Preventive Maintenance and Quoted Repair services
  • Providing status updates as relates to Technician response time, diagnosis and resolution.
  • Conducting follow up correspondence to ensure Client satisfaction
  • Teaming with designated Dispatcher, assisting with the scheduling and coordination of Technician workload

Qualifications & Skills:
The ideal candidate will possess previous Customer Service experience in a business to business environment. Microsoft application experience is a must. Knowledge of the following programs is preferred:

  • DataBasics/ Sampro Operating Software
  • ServiceChannel
  • FM Pilot

HVAC Equipment Replacement Manager

Long Island City based. Local 638B HVAC Contractor is seeking an equipment replacement specialist to join its Mechanical Team. The ideal candidate will have experience in the estimating, planning, mobilization, and management of unit replacement projects. All candidates must have at least 7 years of hands-on technical field experience; installing, maintaining, and repairing HVAC Systems. Familiarity with Package Units, Split Systems and Cooling Towers is required.

Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

  • Surveying existing field conditions and preparing a cost estimate for system replacements.
  • Assisting, as needed, with the purchasing of equipment and Sub-Contractor services.
  • Approving equipment submittals prior to release of equipment from manufacturers/supply houses.
  • Outlining a time schedule for AFGO Labor and Sub-Contractors
  • Overseeing the productivity of all labor to ensure a successful project completion.

Knowledge of Microsoft Office is required. Knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics for Field Service is preferable.

HVAC Dispatcher

A Long Island City based HVAC Service Company seeks an energetic and aggressive HVAC Dispatcher with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Candidate will ensure that all calls for service, repair and maintenance are handled in a timely fashion. Candidate should possess good oral and written communication skills, both with coworkers and over the telephone with outside company associates.

Responsibilities to include, but are not limited to:

  • 3+ years’ experience dispatching
  • MUST have experience in a high-volume service organization
  • Superior customer service skills
  • Proficient multi-tasking skills
  • Demonstrates the ability to be proactive and resourceful

Job Description: Candidate will be required to manage the daily operations of the Parts Department which will include purchasing material and maintaining inventory levels to ensure that the Service Department can complete their work in a timely manner without delay. In addition, Candidate will be required to work with other Staff including Customer Service Coordinators, Field Technicians, and the Service Manager in performing day to day operations in a busy fast paced and busy environment. Prior knowledge of material and parts related to HVAC and Mechanical is a plus, but not required. Candidate must possess a systems and process background. We will train the right candidate.
